Q: The biggest mover on the index today is BPCL because of the potential rising value of its Mozambique assets. Do you think this is just a sentimental move or do you see a fruition of this stake deal very soon?
A: Definitely these assets have value. Venugopal Dhoot of Videocon Industries also holds 10% stake along with BPCL. However, the life of the Mozambique value assets seen getting reflected is very short-lived. Whenever we see price of crude rising up, losses on that account gets erased. Market has been playing a lot on these Mozambique oil assets which the company is holding 10% because the kind of gas reserves estimated there is huge. That
