Worst is not over yet, see more downside: Advent Advisors

The Indian market has been jittery due to global as well as domestic issues. KR Bharat, managing director of Advent Advisors says, the worst is not over yet. He feels it is just the beginning of the slowdown and there is more downside to come.

Also watch the accompanying video. Q: The macro numbers are with you and we have just passed a second quarter which resulted in a whole host of earnings downgrade. Do we still find a bottom at 4,700 or are you with some people who believe that this is just the beginning of the slowdown and much more to come? A: I do think there is more to come. I have had my own view for the last year-and-a-half. I think half the problem is the fact that we are in denial mode, both across the globe as well as here in India.
