The Karnataka Monitoring and Evaluation Authority (KMEA), which is tasked with reviewing government programmes with allocations of above Rs 100 crore, has decided to deploy an artificial intelligence-based platform to strengthen the process.

KMEA has floated a tender for the design and deployment of Smart Automated Monitoring and Evaluation with Data-Driven Holistic Analytics (SAMEDHA), an AI-powered system aimed at enabling real-time evaluation of schemes across departments.

The selected firm will design, develop and deploy a hybrid edge-to-cloud AI platform that can automate data collection, generate real-time dashboards and manage evaluation studies.

“The platform will integrate AI/ML tools, predictive analytics and interactive dashboards to track socio-economic indicators, measure programme impacts and provide policy insights. It will also include a centralised repository of past evaluations to support future analysis through machine learning”, the tender document reads.
