Vishal Mega Mart shares are likely to be allotted to successful bidders on December 16 after the issue got an overwhelming response from investors last week in its 3-day subscription window.
The public issue of Rs 8,000-crore Vishal Mega Mart, which has a pan-India network of 645 stores, had seen demand soaring to 27.28 times with investors bidding for 2,064 crore shares, while only 75.67 crore shares were available, generating a demand of Rs 1.61 lakh crore. The demand was led by QIBs and NIIs. The retail portion was booked 2.31x at a price band of Rs 74-78 apiece.
The investors who subscribed to the mega issue by Gurugram-based supermart major can check their allotment status on the official website of the registrar, KFin Technologies Limited. The share finalization can also be verified on the websites of the exchanges, NSE and BSE.
