In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Union Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar said the new defence procurement policy is a well balanced policy and is confident that 2016 will prove to be a game changer as far as the new policy is concerned.Below is the verbatim transcript of Manohar Parrikar's interview with CNBC-TV18's Shereen Bhan.Q: What is the development on the defence procurement policy?A: Defence acquisitions brought to my notice that the procedure is halfway. Tomorrow someone may come up and he may say that if I knew this I would have participated. Full procedure will go to CVC or CBI, this is their institutional memory though I should have understood it at that stage but it didn’t come to my knowledge unless I asked for it. Q: Who was trying to bulldoze you? A: Not me. No one can bulldoze me. Q: Do you believe 2016 is going to be an inflection point as far as the Make in India programme is concerned for defence? A: I think it is a game changer.
