Kolkata-based PVC pipes and transmission towers maker Skipper's second quarter income grew 20 percent year-on-year to Rs 368 crore. Net profit however declined 14 percent to Rs 30.3 crore.
Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Sharan Bansal, Director, Skipper, said that the company has placed bids worth Rs 2000 crore for domestic tenders and he is confident of seeing a significant portion getting converted into orders.
