Next 2-3 qtrs could be good on improved sentiment: Geojit BNP

Geojit BNP Paribas reported 5.4 percent rise in total income to Rs 69.5 crore while its operation profit grew 14 percent to Rs 23.3 crore. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Satish Menon, ED of the company said that if the improved sentiments translate to numbers, then the next two to three quarters will be good. Volumes in the secondary market improved in the first quarter. Menon said that 90 percent of operational income comes from its brokerage arm, which has not seen much growth in recent times.
