Good monsoon, pay hikes for government employees under the 7th Pay Commission and the upcoming festive season augurs well for Munjal Showa through higher demand for two-wheelers and passenger vehicles, the company's Managing Director, Yogesh Munjal told CNBC-TV18.Munjal Showa in its joint venture with Japan's Showa Corporation, designs and manufactures shock absorbers and struts for leading two-wheelers and four-wheelers. It is among the large suppliers of shock absorbers to major auto companies in India, Japan, Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom.After seeing increased demand for scooters in rural areas, the company has increased its capacity by about 10 percent, he said.
