State owned lignite mining and power generating company NLC India reported a good set of third quarter earnings where its revenue increased 51 percent to Rs 1892 crore year-on-year (YoY) and its net profit went up 12.2 percent to Rs 336.2 crore quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).
Speaking to CNBC-TV18, SK Acharya, Chairman NLC India said the company will achieve its FY17 growth target and dividends this fiscal will be better than FY16.
He said that margins and profits have been steady for the three quarters of FY17 and the company's plant load factor (PLF) stands at an average of 85 percent.Watch video for more.
