In an interview to CNBC-TV18, V Kalyana Rama, CMD of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) discussed company's Q1 performance.
Rama said topline and bottomline has grown by 10 percent and 37 percent respectively.
He further said that export-import is around 10 percent growth and on domestic side it's around 24-25 percent growth.
"We are expecting around 12 percent growth on enterprise side, in volumes as well as topline," said Rama.
According to him, a lot of containerised cargo is available in India in the domestic sector.
I am seeing certain trend where more people are opting for containers and that is pushing domestic volumes, said Rama. He further added that CONCOR maintains its domestic market share.
On goods and services tax (GST) front, he said transition has been very smooth. Things are under control as far as taxation and business is concerned, he added.
