Tata Metaliks Q1 net loss at Rs 32cr

Pig iron maker Tata Metaliks today reported Rs 31.76 crore net loss for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.

The company had recorded Rs 10.30 crore net profit in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, it said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Tata Metaliks' total income during the period, however, rose to Rs 315.43 crore from Rs 286.60 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Shares of the company closed at Rs 100 per share at the BSE today, down 0.40% from its previous close.
