Venus Remedies' net profit grew by 55 percent year-on-year to Rs 16 crore in the third quarter of financial year 2012-13, sending shares 15 percent (intraday) higher on Friday.
Total income increased 17 percent to Rs 112.6 crore from Rs 96 crore during the same period. At 11:39 hours IST, shares rallied nearly 10 percent to Rs 271.35 amid large volumes on Bombay Stock Exchange.
