In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Keshav Baljee, President, Royal Orchid, spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.

Q: If you can just first tell us your Q3 FY11 numbers starting with your top-line as well as your bottom-line?

A: We did revenues of Rs 40.99 crore this quarter as oppose to Rs 31.29 crore last year in the same quarter. Our profit was Rs 4.38 crore as oppose to Rs 3 crore the year before. So, all in all, relatively robust growth even compared with the season numbers last year.

Q: Can you tell us the growth drivers that contributed to your top-line this year?

A: Business has improved in general across the country. As a result of that, business travel has improved resulting in better numbers. Major travel, especially in our Goa hotel, which is being renovated this year, is actually showing a huge uptick. The other driver of course is the addition of our Ahmedabad hotel last year which has now started to contribute significantly to both, the top-line and the bottom-line.
