Walchandnagar receives nod for strategic partnership model in defence

Walchandnagar is buzzing in trade today as the company has received a nod for strategic partnership model in defence.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, GK Pillai, MD & CEO, Walchandnagar Industries said, "The government is working towards the arena of including private sector for large defence projects and the government has selected or identified four major areas where the private sector will be involved into," said Pillai.

He further said that it will take at least one year before orders start flowing in.
