Online tax filing platform Quicko has launched bulk e-filing facility for chartered accountants (CAs) and independent tax professionals, ahead of the July 31 deadline for submitting annual IT returns.
The portal is expecting over 3 million tax filings in the next 15 days.
In addition to e-filing of individual tax returns, Quicko has launched a service for CAs to file income tax returns (ITRs) for their clients within minutes, the company said in a release.
Quicko is an e-RI (Return Intermediary) registered with the Income Tax (IT) department and can submit ITRs filed on its platform to the department directly without clients' credentials.
"Quicko's customer base of CAs and tax professionals has gone up by a staggering 500 per cent in the last three months.
Now more than 4,500 CA firms and independent tax professionals use Quicko," its founder Vishvajit Sonagara said.
"With many of them filing over 1,000 ITRs, Quicko is expecting over 3 million tax filings in the next 15 days," he added.
