ONGC is likely to complete its deal with HPCL as soon as possible, this as the ONGC board has already given its nod to the acquisition plan, that's the word coming from ONGC's CMD DK Sarraf. In an exclusive conversation with CNBC-TV18's Anshu Sharma, DK Sarraf said that funding the HPCL deal will not be a problem for the oil major. He also said that a decision on MRPL will be taken at a later stage and reiterated that HPCL will remain an independent company.
