Blue Star is in focus on the back of a turnkey order win in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) segment. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Vir Advani, MD of Blue Star spoke about the order win and the latest happenings in the company.
Over the last ten years we have build up MEP business and today we have executed over 75 MEP projects in the country, said Advani.
He further said that the three new projects are significant; they are much larger in value than the earlier projects.
He expects new orders to be completed within 2 years.
Advani said that current order is about Rs 210 crore as of June 30 and about 80-85 percent of that are MEP projects.
Looking at improvement in operating margin for MEP business, said Advani.
