Indian Hotels board meet underway; to discuss Mistry's role

Indian Hotels' board meeting is currently underway at the Tata headquarters in Mumbai - the Bombay House. The key issue on the IHCL board's agenda is Cyrus Mistry's role as the chairman of the company. CEO Rakesh Sarna's resignation is also expected to be discussed.The board is also going to discuss the acquisitions that the management has made overseas after Mistry alleges in his scathing letter to the board that these acquisitions could face part write downs of upto USD 18 billion.A scuffle broke out between the journalists and the security outside Bombay House as Cyrus Mistry entered the premises.
