CEAT to be IPL's strategic timeout partner

The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) on Friday announced tyre manufacturer CEAT as its strategic timeout partner for the upcoming IPL season scheduled in April-May.

"CEAT, the leading Indian tyre manufacturer, has commenced an association with the BCCI by becoming the Strategic Timeout Partner for the Pepsi IPL," the BCCI said in a statement.

BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur said, "We welcome CEAT as the Strategic Timeout Partner for the Pepsi IPL.

The complexion of a T20 game can change with every delivery. This makes the strategic timeout a critical part of every Pepsi IPL game, as it gives the teams the opportunity to discuss and rework their strategy".
