After DRL-Teva, expect more M&A action in pharma: Prabhudas

On the back of Dr Reddy's Labs (DRL) announcing plans to acquire a portfolio of eight products from Teva, Surajit Pal, Analyst, Prabhudas Lilladher, expects such deals to happen in the pharma sector.In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Pal said he expects these acquisitions to happen till 2018-19. Pharma companies are losing market share and such deals help them, he said.He added that DRL-Teva deal is a good one but one needs to know the nitty-gritties of the deal.Watch video for more...
