Kamath to bring fresh perspective for Infy: Chanda Kochhar

Infosys on Saturday named veteran banker KV Kamath as the new chairman of the company. He will succeed founder Narayana Murthy, who retires in August.

However, Kamath will continue to remain non-executive chairman of ICICI Bank and his appointment at Infosys will not affect his role at the bank, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank Chanda Kochhar told CNBC-TV18's Shereen Bhan in an exclusive interaction.
