UTV Software plans to delist post Disney open offer

UTV Software said on Tuesday it has received proposal from The Walt Disney to increase the latter's stake in Indian firm, which would lead to de-listing of the company from Indian bourses, reports CNBC-TV18.

UTV Software said on Tuesday it has received proposal from The Walt Disney to increase the latter's stake in Indian firm, which would lead to de-listing of the company from Indian bourses, reports CNBC-TV18.


Disney is yet to make an open offer, however, the offshore media company has proposed delisting price at maximum Rs 1000 per share, UTV informed the channel.
Disney currently owns 50.44% in UTV Software.
Shares of UTV Software rose 3% to Rs 901.80 on the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
