Infra player, Pratibha Industries (PIL) is looking for buyer to offload its saw pipe manufacturing business.
Yogen Lal, chief executive officer, PIL believes that this is the right time to probably exit the business because he finds the market very competitive for saw pipe business. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Lal said, "We are in talks with various players and evaluating various options of either disposing the land and building separately and relocating the equipment to new location maybe overseas or elsewhere in the country." Sale of the saw pipe manufacturing division is expected to reduce cost and improve the company's profit margins.
