While consumer non-durables jumped an unexpected 41.2% against 5% last year, consumer durables has registered a de-growth of 6.8% versus 12.5% on a year-on-year basis.
Venugopal Dhoot, chairman and managing director of Videocon Industries says that the consumer durables market has been expanding and the industry is expected to grow 15% this month.
