Have no intention to sell Rovuma stake: BPCL

Last week, Shell bid more than half a billion dollars for Cove Energy. Bharat Petroleum owns minority stake in the Rovuma license. RK Singh, chairman and managing director of BPCL says, the company has no intention to sell it off.

Last week, Shell bid more than half a billion dollars for Cove Energy. Cove Energy's main asset is an 8.5% stake in the Rovuma Offshore Area 1. Bharat Petroleum and Videocon own minority stakes in the Rovuma license.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, RK Singh, chairman and managing director of BPCL says, another party called PTT, National Company of Thailand, has quoted USD 1.8 billion.
