Etios, Liva power Toyota Kirloskar Feb sales up 79%

Toyota Kirloskar Motor's sales in February surged 79% year-on-year to 16,659 units, helped by strong demand for its Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback, among other vehicles. Etios sedan sales were up 65% from a year ago at 4,590 units, while the company sold 3,437 units of Etios Liva hatchback during the month. Toyota Kirloskar is also seeing good demand for the refreshed Fortuner sports utility vehicle and Innova. It sold 6,271 units of the new Innova last month, up 39%. Fortuner sales rose 36% to 1,346 units. Toyota also sold 996 units of the Corolla Altis in February.
