ENI to sell its 47.2% stake in HOEC; stock up 5%

ENI is looking to sell its 47.2 percent stake in Hindustan Oil Exploration (HOEC) to US based Anadrako Petroleum, reports Business Standard.


At 09:16 hrs Hindustan Oil Exploration Company was quoting at Rs 106.45, up Rs 5.75, or 5.71%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 120.80 and an intraday low of Rs 103.05.
 
It was trading with volumes of 90,403 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed down 1.66% or Rs 1.70 at Rs 100.70.
 
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 152.70 and 52-week low Rs 91.95 on 22 February, 2012 and 02 January, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 30.29% below its 52-week high and 15.77% above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 1,389.10 crore.
The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 6.15 per share. (Sep, 2012). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 17.38. The latest book value of the company is Rs 92.55 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 1.16.
