Team working at resolving labour issues: Munjal

Pawan Munjal, MD & CEO, HeroMoto Corp says that reaching a resolution with the Gurgaon plant workers is not a challenge. Speaking to CNBC-TV18 at the AIMA awards Munjal said, “My team has being doing a great job in their resolve to bring about a good, optimum solution to this issue. I think it will happen soon.”

Pawan Munjal, MD & CEO, HeroMoto Corp says that reaching a resolution with the Gurgaon plant workers is not a challenge. Speaking to CNBC-TV18 at the AIMA awards Munjal said, “My team has being doing a great job in their resolve to bring about a good, optimum solution to this issue. I think it will happen soon.We are working for improvement of the entire region, not just the company and I hope the Haryana government is watching.”

He added that they plan to start sales in both these regions very soon.
Though SIAM’s 2-wheeler forecast of 6-7% is not too optimistic, the company is trying to do better than the industry average. Addressing the prevailing economic situation, he says, “In the new fiscal, I am hopeful that things should start looking up. Right now, the situation is just like it was in March '13. But going forward, with all the steps and announcements made by the FM & the PM, I am hoping that the sentiment and the industry will also start looking up.” He said the company has been working on new products and designs. “Lot of work has been happening at our R&D centres,” he said. He said Hero Moto Corp will be ready with a number of launches in the festival season this year.
