Opposition plans to summon PM on Land Bill issue: Sources

The government may have allowed the Land Ordinance to lapse, but the joint parliamentary panel on the Land Acquisition Bill is clearly not willing to back off.

Rituparna Bhuyan of CNBC-TV18, quoting sources, said that the joint parliamentary panel may seek extension of tenure on the Land Bill issue.He added that the opposition party members in the panel are seeking to summon Prime Minister himself to clarify his position.Watch video for more.
