Maha govt asks Foxconn to submit manufacturing plan in state

A year after setting aside land parcels for Taiwanese Foxconn's USD 5 billion manufacturing push in Maharashtra, the state government now wants them to come up with a concrete implementation plan, reports CNBC-TV18.

A year after setting aside land parcels for Taiwanese Foxconn's USD 5 billion manufacturing push in Maharashtra, the state government now wants them to come up with a concrete implementation plan, reports CNBC-TV18.

The Maharashtra government has been pushing Foxconn to submit a manufacturing plan along with realistic rollout timelines.

Based on its commitment the state government had set aside land parcels at Chakan and Khopoli for Foxconn. 

Foxconn is likely to submit this plan by next month. But, the company did not reply to a query by CNBC-TV18.Watch video for more...
