The Andhra Pradesh government has released its long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) bid result it had floated for a requirement of 2400 megawatt (MW) power to the state.
Adani Power has won the bid to prove 540 MW at Rs 4.49 per unit; Jindal India Thermal Power will provide 374 MW at Rs 4.69 and Essar Power' Mahan unit will provide 500 MW at Rs 4.83 per unit.
The lowest bid was seen at Rs 4.27 per unit by the East India Company.
