The battle between Etisalat and DB promoters is poised to intensify, reports CNBC-TV18's Kritika Saxena. According to sources, Etisalat has claimed a compensation of upto Rs 1,600 crore which is the amount initially invested, to pay off investors and debtors.
Sources add that Etisalat has written to its foreign lenders and promised that the unsecured debt of around Rs 2,500 crore would be paid over the next 4-5 years. The compensation claim also includes Etisalat
