Wipro acquires SAIC's global O&G IT services business

After almost two years, IT giant Wipro Technologies has finally made an acquisition. It has bought the IT services arm of SAIC (science applications international corporation), reports Kritika Saxena of CNBC-TV18.

After almost two years, Wipro Technologies has finally made an acquisition. The IT giant has signed an agreement with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) for the acquisition of their global oil and gas information technology practice of the commercial business services business unit, reports Kritika Saxena of CNBC-TV18.

The aforesaid has been done for an all cash consideration of approximately USD 150 million, subject to adjustments. SAIC
