The government's emphasis on reforms will continue and it has given rewards, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told Rahul Joshi, Editor-in-Chief, Network18 in an exclusive interview.

The minister, who presented the interim budget 2024 a day earlier, added that the economy has maintained its buoyancy and there is reason to believe that 7 percent GDP growth is possible.

Sitharaman said the government is confident of managing inflation while sustaining robust growth.

The interim budget, presented on February 1, did not include any major spending announcements.
