Rajasthan, which has a history of voting out the ruling party, is all set for a fierce, two-way contest between Congress CM Ashok Gehlot  and BJP, which is going all out to seal a win from this state seen as a launchpad for the party's 2024 Lok Sabha bid.

Rajasthan will vote on November 25 and the results will be out on December 3.  The date earlier was scheduled for November 23 but it was changed by the Election Commission as many large-scale weddings and social engagements werer slotted for November 23.

The last date for filing nominations is November 6. November 9 is the last date for withdrawal of candidatures. the tenure of the present Rajasthan assembly will end in January 2024. Rajasthan Assembly Election will be held in 200 assembly constituencies.
