"A well-prepped eyelid ensures smooth application and long-lasting wear," says Arya. “Cleansing your lids and applying a primer will create a flawless base, allowing the eyeshadow to adhere better and stay vibrant during the festive time,” she says.

Eyeshadow and more: For a soft glam look, Arya suggests warm-toned eyeshadows such as gold, bronze, and soft brown are ideal. “These shades provide a seamless transition and complement a range of skin tones. To add a festive touch, shimmering champagne or metallic gold applied to the inner corners brightens the eyes, making them appear more awake and luminous,” she says, and adds, “For those who love a bolder aesthetic, rich jewel tones like emerald green, sapphire blue, and deep plum can be blended into the outer corners or along the lower lash line for a more dramatic effect."
Defining the eyes with liner: Eyeliner plays a crucial role in elevating the look. "A sleek black winged liner instantly adds drama, while kohl-rimmed eyes create a more traditional, sultry vibe," explains Arya. For a smokier effect, smudging deep brown or charcoal black eyeshadow along the lash line softens the edges and improves depth.

Voluminous and fluttery lashes: Lashes complete the eye make-up. “They create intensity, and multiple swipes of mascara can lift and define them. False lashes, if applied, can add an extra layer of glam, making the eyes appear more striking and expressive," says Arya.
