Slugging: 6 on 10
Slugging essentially means putting Vaseline or a thick cream on your face at night. If your skin is very dry, this will help a lot. However, for those who are prone to getting acne, this trend can actually worsen their condition by blocking the skin pores. Moreover, one should try this only once in a way and not make it into an everyday thing.

Ice Dunk Trend: 4 on 10
This is a trend, which we see lot on social media these days, where people dip their face in ice cold water to make it look fresh and to tighten their skin. However, what one must bear in mind is that by dipping face in very cold water or ice water, one can end up doing a lot of harm to the skin. It is better to wash face with normal cool water. Plus, it may make people think that cold water tightens the skin or makes it look fresh, but it isn't the case.

Double Cleansing: 9 on 10
This is a very good hack that everyone must swear by. It involves removing makeup with cleansing balm or micellar water, and then washing it with a gentle face wash. Double cleansing ensures every particle of dirt and grime is removed from skin without stripping the skin of its essential oil.

Hot Towel Facials: 5 on 10
Putting a warm towel on face can soften the skin. But if it’s too hot, it can cause inflammation or lead to redness. So, one must always use only slightly warm towel for a few minutes.

LED Light Masks: 8 on 10
These masks emit lights. The red light helps with wrinkles and the blue light helps with pimples. They work slowly and need regular use. Home masks are safe, but clinic ones work better.

Microcurrent Devices: 7 on 10
These devices are designed to give small electric shocks to tighten the face. It helps a little, but not for long. You must use it again and again. Plus, it is not recommended for people with heart problems.
