The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the schedule for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2024. Aspirants eagerly awaiting the exam dates can now plan their preparation accordingly.
The prestigious UPSC CSE Mains exam is set to be conducted from September 20 to 29, 2024. The examination will be held in two shifts daily: the morning session from 9 AM to 12 noon and the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Candidates who successfully cleared the UPSC CSE Prelims 2024, the results of which were declared on July 1, 2024, are eligible to appear for the Mains exam. A total of 14,627 candidates qualified the preliminary stage.
Through this examination, the commission aims to fill 1,056 vacancies, including 40 reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
