The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the results for the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Preliminary Examination 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam on July 27, 2025, can now check their qualifying status on the Commission’s official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
The competition for the 419 available posts was intense, reflecting the high demand for these government positions. The commission released data highlighting the scale of this recruitment process:
- Total Applications Received: 10,76,004
- Total Candidates Appeared: 4,54,589
- Total Candidates Qualified for Mains: 7,509
- Total Vacancies: 419
The 7,509 successful candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the upcoming Main Examination. The category-wise selection is as follows:
- Reviewing Officer (RO) Posts: 6,093 candidates have been selected to compete for 338 RO vacancies.
- Assistant Reviewing Officer (ARO) Posts: 1,386 candidates have qualified for 79 ARO vacancies.
- Assistant Reviewing Officer (Леха/Lekha) Posts: 30 candidates have been called for the mains exam for 2 specialized ARO (Lekha) posts.

Step 1. Visit the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in.
Step 2. On the homepage, find the "What's New" or "Latest News" section.
Step 3. Look for a notification that reads "Result of Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (Preliminary) Exam-2025" or similar and click on it.
Step 4. You will be redirected to a page containing a direct link to the result PDF. Clicking the link will open the list of selected roll numbers.
Step 5. Since the PDF is large, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F to open the search box. Enter your roll number to quickly check your result.
Step 6. Save the PDF file for your records and take a printout for all future reference throughout the recruitment process.
