UPPSC PCS Exam Today: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will conduct the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) preliminary examination today, December 22, 2024. Candidates who are going to appear in the examination can check the admit card link and other important guidelines to avoid any last-minute hassle.
More than 5.6 lakh candidates have registered for the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 examination which will take place across 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh. The exam will be conducted in two shifts.
- Morning Shift: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
This recruitment drive aims to fill 220 coveted positions in the state's civil service. The Commission has already released the admit cards for the exam on their official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.

Important Guidelines
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of their UPPSC PCS admit card 2024 along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam center.
- Two passport-sized photographs are mandatory.
- Strict adherence to exam guidelines is essential.
- Entry gates will open 1 hour and 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time and close 45 minutes before the start of the exam.
- Writing anything besides your roll number and name in designated areas is strictly prohibited.
- Electronic devices like smartwatches and Bluetooth gadgets are forbidden inside the exam hall.
- Candidates are also advised not to bring any books or papers with them.
