The Bihar state police department has announced a massive recruitment drive for the post of constables. A total of 19,838 vacancies will be filled under the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2025, with the application process set to commence on March 18 and conclude on April 18, 2024.
The announcement was made by Jitendra Kumar, Chairman of the Central Selection Board for Constable Recruitment, during a press briefing at the Bihar Police Headquarters in Patna on Tuesday. Kumar revealed that the recruitment process will include a written examination as well as a physical test to ensure the selection of capable candidates.
This recruitment drive comes on the heels of the recently concluded selection process for 21,391 constable posts, the final results of which are expected to be declared by the end of March or early April 2024. With the new notification, the Bihar Police aims to further strengthen its workforce by filling nearly 20,000 additional positions.
Note: Reservation for Women: 6,717 posts exclusively reserved for female candidates
