Kidney disease is a common health concern across the globe. Unhealthy lifestyle habits, poor dietary choices and chronic illnesses, are said to be some of the culprits. The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) identifies diabetes and high blood pressure as the leading causes of kidney disease.
