By the time a woman hits 30, her body begins signaling subtle shifts, hormonal fluctuations, changes in metabolism, and early signs of wear on vital organs, says Dr Pallavi Vasal, Clinical Director, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Marengo Asia Hospital Gurugram. “It is, therefore, very important for women who are crossing 30 to prioritise their health,” says Dr Badal and adds that routine health screenings are no longer optional; they are vital for early detection and prevention.

“Regular check-ins with your gynecologist and general physician can help identify silent issues, often before they start manifesting as symptoms. Blood tests like thyroid levels, vitamin D3 and B12, hemoglobin, lipid profile, liver and kidney function tests, and ultrasounds are just a few that should be a part of your yearly health regime,” she says.
