A study from Monash University highlights that moderate egg consumption helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease-related mortality, especially in healthy older people. A recent study published in the scientific journal Nutrients analyses data from 8,756 adults aged 70 years or older as part of the ASPREE Longitudinal Study of Older Persons (ALSOP). Participants self-reported their egg consumption habits ranging from rarely/never to daily intake.
