In past one year, the music world has been buzzing with the ongoing debate over Neha Kakkar’s new song, "O Sajna." This song is a remix of Falguni Pathak’s iconic 1999 hit "Maine Payal Hai Chhankai." As soon as "O Sajna" was released, fans of the original song quickly expressed their disappointment, claiming that the remix ruined the charm of the classic.

Falguni Pathak, known for her soulful melodies, did not hold back when sharing her feelings about the remix. In an interview with Delhi Times, she had revealed what was her initial reaction to O Sajna the moment she heard it. She candidly stated, “I got to know about the remixed version three or four days back. My first reaction was not good. I was like, mujhe bas ulti aani baaki thi, aisa ho gaya tha.” This translates to, "I was about to puke; it felt like that." Her strong words highlighted how deeply she felt about the changes made in the remix.

Falguni expressed her belief that the essence of her original song has been lost in this new version. She reminisced about the innocence captured in the original video and how the remix had altered that spirit. “The video and picturization had such innocence, but they have ruined it,” she said. This comment struck a chord with many fans who agreed that the original had a unique charm that was hard to replicate.
