She revealed that her friendship with Vicky Kaushal had strengthened during their time working together, which led her to consider him her "3 a.m. friend." While both Ranbir and Vicky have been important figures in her life and career, she highlighted that Vicky’s cool, laid-back attitude and their frequent interactions on set allowed her to form a deeper bond with him.

In one of the item songs, Mere Mehboob, from Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii has faced some backlash for her dance moves. The choreography, done by Ganesh Acharya, drew criticism online, especially for one particular move where Triptii lays on the floor and lifts one leg to perform a circular motion. Some netizens did not appreciate this and trolled both Triptii and the choreographer for the sequence.
The item song features her and actor Rajkummar Rao, who also stars alongside her in the movie. The sensual gaze and moves, although intended to create a certain allure, were not received well by a portion of the audience, and the actress faced considerable trolling for it.
Despite the online controversy, Triptii’s professional momentum hasn’t slowed down. She is pairing up with Rajkummar Rao for the first time in Raaj Shaandilyaa's upcoming film, which is gaining traction for its 90s nostalgia and promises of being "97% family-oriented" with a dash of edginess. The film’s trailer teased a compelling storyline revolving around a CD with an intimate video of a couple, which brings chaos to a small town.
Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is set for release on October 11, and fans are excited to see how the movie, featuring both Triptii and Rajkummar Rao, unfolds. With high expectations following Rajkummar's success in Stree 2 which also stars Shraddha Kapoor, the anticipation for this film remains strong.
