The news follows their announcement last September, when the couple, married since 2020, joyously welcomed their first child. Nithiin captioned the post, “Welcoming the NEWEST STAR of our family!”—a message that was met with heartfelt wishes from fellow actors and fans alike.
Nithiin, who made his mark with the breakout hit Jayam in 2002, has evolved into one of Telugu cinema’s most beloved actors, with memorable performances in films like Ishq, A Aa, and Bheeshma. At the time of his son's birth, he was busy filming Thammudu and Robinhood, balancing his professional commitments with the joy of becoming a father.
The couple also celebrated Janmashtami with their new boy dressed up as kanha ji, sharing the picture Shalini captioned "Happy Krishnashtami"
The name Avyukth, unique and melodious, reflects the couple's personal naming style, though they haven’t elaborated publicly on its meaning. On the work front, Nithiin’s Thammudu did not do well at the box office and neither did Robinhood. It has been quite a long time since Nithiin bagged a hit at the box office. It has been very clearly proved that his selection of bad scripts has led to this state. Thammudu brought back actress Laya to the big screen and has Swasika and Sapthami Gowda making their Telugu debut. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
He will next be seen in a sports drama with director Vikram Kumar of Ishq and Manam fame. With the director who has given good hits at the box office, it can be expected that this film would be giving the much-needed hit to Nithiin.
