The Dark Knight Rises actor Alon Aboutboul, 60, dies after collapsing at beach

The Dark Knight Rises and London Has Fallen actor Alon Aboutboul died on July 29. He was 60.

According to USA Today, Alon died after collapsing at the HaBonim Beach in Tel Aviv. However, the exact cause of his death is yet to be confirmed.

Soon after his death, Israel’s Culture and Sport Minister Miki Zohar took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account and mourned his passing.

He tweeted in Hebrew, “I was deeply saddened to hear about the sudden passing of the actor Alon Abutbul, may his memory be blessed.”
The minister added, “Last night, I watched an interview with him where he spoke about filming a movie he recently participated in, and the passion for his craft that radiated from him was evident even after so many years in the industry.”

The tweet continued, “Alon was a recipient of the Ophir Award and the Television Academy Award, and over the years, he portrayed a wide range of characters, bringing depth and emotion to them, leaving a profound mark on Israeli culture. May his memory be blessed.”
