Maddock Films is gearing up for the release of its next supernatural horror-comedy, Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. Ahead of its release on October 21, 2025, the makers have unveiled the teaser of Thamma's new song Tum Mere Na Huye.
The track, sung by Madhubanti Bagchi—known for songs like Uyi Amma and Aaj Ki Raat—carries a soulful vibe with a distinct standalone appeal. The teaser shows Rashmika Mandanna dazzling in a striking red outfit as she grooves alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
Fans quickly flooded the comment section with excitement, some drawing comparisons to Aaj Ki Raat. One user wrote, “This song sounds like Aaj Ki Raat”, while another commented, “Maddock Universe all item songs are bangers.” The full song is set to release on Monday, September 28.
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Maddock Films wrote, “Witness every girl’s voice of love and heartbreak. Presenting Thamma’s first song, #TumMereNaHuye. Teaser out now. Song out tomorrow.”
The makers had earlier launched the trailer of Thamma at a grand event in Mumbai, where Stree star Shraddha Kapoor was among the guests.
While sharing the trailer, they described the film as, “A forgotten legend from our folklore, #Thamma takes centre stage this Diwali. Maddock Horror Comedy Universe presents a bloody love story, produced by Dinesh Vijan & Amar Kaushik and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. In cinemas worldwide on 21st October.”
Thamma is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Falara. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the film marks the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. Alongside Ayushmann and Rashmika, the ensemble cast includes Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, and Vijay Raaz. Adding to the buzz, Varun Dhawan will also be seen in a cameo role.
