In Ekta Kapoor's next mythological thriller, Vvan, which is helmed by Deepak Mishra, Tamannaah Bhatia will co-star with Sidharth Malhotra. The movie is anticipated to start production in June 2025 and be released in 2026.

A source close to the production revealed to Pinkvilla that Tamannaah has been actively expanding her filmography. In addition to Vvan, she has signed on for several other projects, including Ranger, a biopic on Rakesh Maria, and the sequel to No Entry. Her role in Vvan is described as substantial and performance-driven, marking her first foray into the mythological genre. The source added that Tamannaah’s role in the film is substantial and performance-driven.

“Tamannaah is excited to step into the world of mythology, set in the central part of India. She will be undergoing a diction training with Sidharth Malhotra for her role in the film. Vvan will be shot in real locations, and the makers have already started the pre-production to identify the forest areas. A large chunk of this film is set in a forest," the source mentioned.

Following Tamannaah's recent professional advancements, this announcement was made. She is currently concentrating on reviving her career after a period of decreased acting commitments, purportedly for personal reasons, and she has indicated interest in taking on more important roles. Her most recent endeavours include the Sampath Nandi-directed Bollywood movie Odela 2 and an untitled film she co-wrote with Ajay Devgn.
